Key Responsibilities:
Quality Inspections and Testing:
Perform regular inspections and tests of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
Ensure that products are manufactured in compliance with internal and external quality standards and regulations.
Conduct visual, mechanical, and chemical testing as required by the product specifications.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, defects, and areas of improvement in the production process.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, testing results, and corrective actions taken.
Provide regular feedback to production teams regarding quality issues and recommendations for improvement.
Non-Conformance Management:
Identify defects and non-conformances in products and materials.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address issues and prevent future occurrences.
Communicate and collaborate with various teams to resolve quality-related problems.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Support the development and implementation of new quality control processes and systems.
Assist in the design and optimization of testing procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001), and company policies.
Assist in audits and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date for internal and external inspections.
Training and Support:
Provide training to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
Offer technical support to the production team to troubleshoot quality issues and ensure consistency.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field (preferred). Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and quality management software.
Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Desired Skills:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency with automated inspection equipment (if applicable).
